This month's build challenge topic: "Breakdown"

Build a vignette depicting a LS Army Infantry unit stuck in a rather awkward situation as the result of a problem with their vehicle(s).

Rules:

  • The contest is open to regular ACF members, official ACF role-play squad leaders and ACF moderators. Admins will be judging, and so will not be participating.

  • The maximum size of your entry must be less than or equal to 32 x 32 studs, but reasonable overhang is permitted.

  • BrickArms must be used prominently in your entry. By that, we mean sneaky use of U-clips or monopods don't count.

  • Ensure that you use official vehicle/decals designs and other information covered in the official TechNotes for LS Army Infantry units. You might also mind official ACF WIPs around on Flickr - feel free to use those as well. In essence, we're also judging how well your work conforms to the official canon.

  • All entries must be original, never seen before MOCs.

  • Submit two good photos of your entry, along with a short description.

  • Only one entry per member. Remember, quality over quantity!

Duration: 1st ~ 27th February 2010

Judging: The top three entries will be announced on 28th Feburary 2010, shortly before the next challenge is made available.

Best of luck, ladies and gentlemen! Post your entries here!

Feel free to ask any questions below, and a staff member will respond by embedding a comment into your post. :)

Update 26 February 2010: The challenge topic has now been extended to the 31st of March. Hopefully this should give people more time to get entries in :)

Well. I guess that means I can't join until I get some BrickArms. My parents are being a pain about it. They say they will. But they don't.

I hope I'll be able to finish my photography guide*, and by extension, my lightbox in time to enter this! : )

*I have come across a pretty major hold-up in the creation of the photography guide.

When we build can it be like two photos or just one?

[TECHADV - Ah, good question! Two good photos will do. I'll update the rules right now. Thanks! - GL]

While I can´t officially participate, because living in Brazil means no Brickarms at all, this certainly inspired me to build something. Sounds Fun!
