For those of you who managed to catch me red-handed in the midst of a feature upgrade, fine, I'm guilty as charged :P
All kidding aside, everyone knows that there was an image size restriction of 400 x 400 px, later amended to 600 x 600 px. The reason for this was to allow our lower-bandwidth internet users to be able to skim through the forums without having to wait for very large images to load.
During the unannounced forums outage, I installed some new forums code. From now on, you can post images of any size, even those that are really big. The code will automatically resize all your posted images to create a thumbnail, and a zoom button will allow people to view the full version if they choose to.
Enjoy!
